Fab surprise bday bash!
We had an epic surprise party for my daughter. Staff were super helpful and the food was delish! Everyone's raving about the hog roast. The room was absolutely stunning too! Breakfast had loads of choices and the front desk crew were lovely. Just wish the lounge area was a bit cozier for hanging out.

Had a great time with friends exploring the historic sites nearby and enjoying the comfy beds. Staff were friendly, and the area around the hotel is beautiful. Just a heads up, make sure to pre-book your dinner to avoid delays as it can get busy.
We found the noise from a wedding party disturbing, which made it tough to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the breakfast team is fantastic—Peter and his staff made mornings delightful with their attentive service. I also loved that the hotel retained its historical charm while providing spacious and clean rooms, which was perfect for my family and dad.
In my kids’ opinion, the signage needs improvement to help families navigate better.

The hot and cold buffet breakfast was a delightful start to the day, featuring fresh fruits and pastries. The grounds were serene, making it an ideal escape from city life. the main entrance often felt draughty due to smokers congregating outside, which detracted from the otherwise peaceful ambiance. While the stay was enjoyable overall, the noise from the lobby could be managed better to enhance guest comfort.

Stunning historical architecture with exquisite period decor throughout the property. Direct access to beautifully maintained gardens enhances the charm of the experience.
Encountered noise disturbances late at night from adjacent rooms, which was quite disruptive and left me feeling tired the next morning. the mattress could use an upgrade, as it felt saggy and uncomfortable for a good night's sleep. Some areas appeared to be in need of better maintenance, like cracked tiles and minor plumbing issues that could easily dampen the overall experience.

The hall and its surroundings are truly beautiful, creating a charming atmosphere. While there were some issues with the mattress and bathroom privacy, the room itself was spacious and clean, which made it manageable for our short stay. The breakfast turned out to be a pleasant surprise, with attentive service despite some options being less appealing. a decent experience with lovely grounds nearby to explore.

The dining experience shines with a fine menu that impresses even the pickiest pilots. The bar area offers a comfortable vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long day flying through the stars.
Navigating to the rooms is a trek, especially if you're carting bags up two flights of stairs without a lift—definitely not ideal for early take-offs. My double room felt cramped for two and made it tricky to set up dog beds. The shower wasn't up to scratch with a thermostat that refused to budge and a head that looked like it had seen better days. Getting too close to a nearby venue meant a sleepless night thanks to thumping bass and disturbances right until midnight, compounded by some ruckus outside. Definitely steer clear of weekends if you're hoping for some peace and quiet.
